Edifício Copan
O edifício Copan, localizado no centro da cidade, é um símbolo da arquitetura moderna brasileira, e teve seu projeto concebido pelo líder do movimento, o arquiteto Oscar Niemeyer, em 1954, na ocasião do IV Centenário de São Paulo.
O prédio tem a maior estrutura de concreto armado do país, com 115 metros de altura, repartidos em 32 andares e 120 mil m² de área construída. É dividido em seis blocos, com um total de 1.160 apartamentos de dimensões variadas, numa estimativa de 5 mil residentes e mais 70 estabelecimentos comerciais.

Copan Building
The Copan building, in the center of São Paulo, is a symbol of modern architecture in Brazil. Designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer, the modernist leader, in 1954, for the 400º anniversary of São Paulo.
The largest reinforced concrete structure in Brazil is 115 meter tall, with 32 floors and 120,000 m², divided in six blocks, with 1,160 size-varied apartments and almost 5,000 inhabitants and more than 70 shops.
